It's no coincidence students perform well in school subjects where they're fond of the teacher. Having a relatable tutor, who bonds with the students and has a character similar to the student's, makes all the difference in how impactful tutoring sessions are. When students are happy and comfortable, their brains absorb information much more efficiently and effectively.

Whilst there are studies regarding individual learning styles, the majority of student have been shown to learn and retain information better when presented visually. This is even more evident in certain subjects like the Sciences, where diagrams, visual flowcharts and such can have a huge impact on a student's understanding. Our tutors attempt to present concepts as visually as possible for more effective learning.

A student could have a deep understanding of every topic in the curriculum, but there is no guarantee they will achieve a top mark in the exam. This is because exam technique is 50% of exam success and understanding what the questions is asking, how to tick the boxes and gain every mark in the mark scheme and how to impress the examiner all work hand-in-hand with content knowledge, especially for 11+, GCSE & A-level exams.
